Nacogdoches has a serious lack of chain establishments. I'm totally supportive of local and small business, but at the same time, considering the huge entity that SFA is we need a lot more chains coming into town, both restaurants and just general stores. It's sad that everyone has to drive to Lufkin for basically everything. But Nacogdoches wouldn't even let Applebee's come to town because of them serving alcohol too late. Seriously? The money it would bring in from the students is more beneficial. We literally have Chili's, IHOP, CiCi's, Cotton Patch, and Posado's as our chain sit-downs not including fast food. Is that not less than desirable to anyone else?
