Many kids will never get too experience the fun of swimming if they don't have their own pool. I think this could also bring in a good amount of money. Just a thought.

Would love to see a push to get sidewalks along all of north street. At least up to wal mart area and shopping center across from it. Needs to have dual use of pedestrian and bikes.

Could this also be used as conduit to eventually bury the electric wires on north? It looks terrible, and could really look nice if that wiring was buried, maybe in sidewalks with locked removable tops.

I would like to see a bike share program, similar to Ft. Worth developed to encourage biking in our community.

I would love to see the streets of Nacogdoches receive some greatly needed repairs. The entire North Street is paved with old, cracked streets in dire need of fixing, as well as many neighborhoods on the south side of town. These roads are terrible for shocks and ball joints on vehicles. This improvement would greatly increase both the aesthetics and quality of our town's streets.

I'm totally supportive of local and small business, but at the same time, considering the huge entity that SFA is we need a lot more chains coming into town, both restaurants and just general stores. It's sad that everyone has to drive to Lufkin for basically everything. But Nacogdoches wouldn't even let Applebee's come to town because of them serving alcohol too late. Seriously? The money it would bring in from the students is more beneficial. We literally have Chili's, IHOP, CiCi's, Cotton Patch, and Posado's as our chain sit-downs not including fast food. Is that not less than desirable to anyone else?

I think a Chuck E. Cheese would do well here. People don't seem to mind driving to Tyler or Longview to go to one. It might attract people from the surrounding areas.

The federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has begun the process of subjecting e-cigarettes to federal regulation. The proposed rules, which may not be adopted for many months, treat e-cigarettes similarly to other tobacco products. For instance, they would ban the sale of the devices to minors, require manufacturers to register with and provide ingredients to the FDA, and subject manufacturers to FDA inspections.
As the FDA regulations advance, they City Council may consider their own regulations as part of the City's smoke free ordinance. Please feel free to share your thoughts. As always, it would be helpful if you comments center around the 'facts' of the issue.

Similar to the one in Lufkin at the Chambers Park. Can't wait until the water park opens however one of these would be nice also. Banita park beside the police department would be a great place.
