[ARCHIVED] C& R Kutt Bottle at the Farmer's Market This Weekend

Steve & Kay Chism and Marilyn & Joe Richardson will be back this Saturday, December 14. They sell cut glass made from recycled bottles (by Steve Chism - C & R Kutt Bottle - Creative Glass Recycling). They also sell drinking glasses, flower vases, self-watering planters, wind chimes and hurricane lamps. Check out their tumbled glass beads. All their proceeds go to 'Habitat for Humanity.

NEW ITEMS: broccoli, tamales & breakfast tacos

Things you might find this time of year: baked goods (cakes, mini cheesecakes, cookies, fried pies & pies), canned goods (chow-chow, jams & jellies, marmalades, preserves, pickled vegetables, salsas & relishes), artisan Texas cheese, free-range eggs, freshly cut flowers, gourds, local raw honey, jewelry, plants (bedding plants, house plants, fruit trees, trees & whips), soaps (lye and herbal), ribbon-cane syrup, tamales, vinegars and fruit wines.

LOCAL PRODUCE: resh frozen beans (butter, Lima & pinto), broccoli, frozen corn, greens (arugula, Chinese cabbage, Swiss chard, collards, kale, komatsuma, mustard, spinach & turnip), herbs (basil, lemon balm, mint, oregano, rosemary, sage & thyme), leeks, shitake mushrooms, onions(green, red, white & yellow), peanuts, fresh frozen peas (brown Crowder, English, pink-eyed, purple hull & zipper cream), pecans (cracked, shelled & unshelled), many varieties of peppers, new potatoes, radishes, winter squash, sweet potatoes, tomatoes (green & red), sun-ripened dried tomatoes and walnuts.

The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot.
Please note that the Farmer’s Market is a “Smoke Free” facility for the health of our customers and vendors.
