NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED BUDGET
The City Council of the City of Nacogdoches will hold a hearing for citizen input on the proposed budget for the operations of the City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2023 and ending September 30, 2024 on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall Building, 202 E. Pilar Street, Nacogdoches, Texas.
Per Section 102.005(b) of the Texas Local Government Code:
This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $127,130 or 1%, and of that amount $33,143 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
