Due to a contractor hitting a gas line on North Street all lanes of North Street from Bowie Street to Austin Street will be closed for a few hours to allow for repairs. TxDot is en route and Public Works, NPD and NFD are on scene.
Centerpoint has been notified and they are working to make repairs. We expect it to take several hours for the line to be repaired.
Please expect delays in the area throughout the day and be prepared to detour.
