Notice is hereby given of a regular meeting of Nacogdoches Mayor’s Committee on People with Disabilities beginning at 12 pm, via videoconference, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action.
In accordance with social distancing guidelines, the Nacogdoches Mayor’s Committee on People with Disabilities meeting will not be open to the public. Members will attend virtually and the meeting will be streamed live at www.ci.nacogdoches.tx.us/21 There will be an opportunity for the public to submit written comments on agenda items.
Members of the public who wish to submit their written comments on a listed agenda item must submit their comments via email to City Secretary Jan Vinson at email@example.com or by calling 936-559-2506.
1. Discuss and take action on three options concerning committee status
• Remain a city committee, as is
• Move to a non-profit status, no longer affiliated with the city
• Community members work to establish a separate non-profit with similar goals, so that the committee and non-profit can work together
