The event will be held on January 21st from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with registration starting at 8 a.m. at Lakeside Park, 4800 Pearl St.
Thanks to our partners from Texas Parks and Wildlife, the lake will be stocked with Rainbow Trout and kids, ages 1 - 16, will compete for prizes in categories such as, Biggest Trout, Smallest Trout, Biggest Fish (any species caught) and Heaviest Stringer. Aside from fishing, the event will offer a visit from Smokey the Bear and angler and outdoor education.
We hope to see you there, ready to reel in some fun and tackle the competition. Participants will need to bring their own fishing equipment.
