The City of Nacogdoches Main Street program is excited to announce tickets for the 3rd Annual Wine Swirl will be available soon. “We are so excited about our 3rd Annual Wine Swirl, this year’s event should be bigger and better than last year” said Main Street Director Sarah O’Brien. Approximately 200 tickets will be available on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31st beginning at 3 p.m. at Liquor Mart on North Street until they are gone. The remainder of the tickets will go on sale Friday, January 2nd at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Bell downtown.
The 3rd Annual Wine Swirl brought to you by Liquor Mart is slated for Saturday, February 21st, from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $40, and we will only have 600 attendees total, up 100 attendees from last year. Ticket prices remain the same. Interested guests are encouraged to get your tickets as soon as possible. Last year’s event was sold out in less than a week. Tickets include wine samples and food pairings from 16 Texas wineries, an event wine glass, and customized Swirl plate. Guests are encouraged to pay with cash or check. “This is one downtown event you simply do not want to miss!” said O’Brien. Attendees will be able to pick up their Swirl Packets the evening of the event at City Hall, 202 E. Pilar Street. Attendees must have a ticket to go through packet pick up. SFASU Driving Jacks, courtesy of Memorial Hospital, is on board to give patrons a ride home. “We are excited to announce CBTX will be back on board as our 17th stop this year, Nac Pac Jazz Trio will be performing while guests are able to sample Blueberry Vodka and Texas beers. Attendees will also be able to vote for “Taste of the Town,” and a $500 cash prize awarded to the tastiest restaurant participant.
