The Fire Museum was built in 1996 in the former fire and rescue shop on South Fredonia Street at the back of the central fire station. The museum contains the first fire engine and a number of pictures and other fire and rescue memorabilia.

Fire Museum tours are available by appointment and during downtown events. Tour appointments can be obtained by calling the fire and rescue secretary at (936) 559-2541.
