Oak Grove Cemetery

If you need to purchase grave spaces or have any questions regarding the City’s cemeteries, you may contact staff at Sunset Memorial Office - 936-560-5314. 

The office at Sunset Memorial Cemetery is staffed and open Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 - 5pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 -5pm and Friday from 11am - 5pm. If you need help outside of those hours, it is best to call first and ensure someone is available to assist you.

Oak Grove Cemetery

The first marked grave is dated 1837. 12.7 acres. HistoricOak Grove Cemetery is one of the most famous cemeteries in Texas. It is marked as the final resting place of many legendary Texans as well as four signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence.
